Lori Laingor L.Ac., A.D.S., B.S., M.B.A

Lori Laingor has practiced acupuncture in Colorado for 14 years, after graduating from the Colorado School of Traditional Medicine in 1993. She has a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and was president of the University of Colorado engineering school. She has an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. She has numerous certifications including Acupuncture Detoxifications Specialist from National Detoxification Association and Specialist in Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique. She is a master’s candidate in Energy Medicine from the Light Harmonics Institute and Keys College. Ms. Laingor assisted in the production of the 2006 and 2007 World Congress on Integrative Medicine. She is on the conference staff of the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine and the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association.

As an acupuncturist for the last 14 years, Ms. Laingor specializes in the use of cutting edge therapies for emotional disorders, pain and detoxification. She worked in two chiropractic clinics for six years treating car accident victims and sports injuries including the Denver Broncos. She treated a wide variety of patients for two years at Kaiser Permanente’s Complementary and Alternative Clinic in Boulder. She now practices in her own clinic in Boulder, specializing in mental/emotional trauma with associated somatic issues. Ms. Laingor collaborates with a variety of associates who practice Psychotherapy, Naturopathy, Physical Therapy and others.

Ms. Laingor uses PSYCH-K, which incorporates muscle-testing and whole brain integration to rewrite the "software" of the mind. PSYCH-K changes self sabotaging subconscious beliefs into self supporting beliefs. Ms. Laingor also focuses on group and self treatment including a low cost group stress/trauma clinic using auricular acupuncture (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association – NADA - protocol). She also gives instruction for self treatment using trauma release exercises.

Ms. Laingor has developed a unique style bridging ancient wisdom and quantum science by combining acupuncture and other techniques with high tech energy medicine. She gets remarkable results by integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine with the Tennant Biomodulator, an FDA class II biofeedback/micro current device. The Biomodulator, which creates a pain free tingling sensation, can be used instead of acupuncture needles.

Ms. Laingor also performs floral acupuncture using Bach Flower remedies on specific acupoints, and incorporates muscle testing, dowsing and distant healing techniques (radiethesia/radionics).

Previous to her career in healthcare, Ms. Laingor’s work experience includes 10 years as a telecommunications engineer, consultant and executive recruiter. She owned an executive recruiting business in San Francisco specializing in telecommunications. She taught telecommunications classes at Golden Gate University. She also owned and ran an import/export and adventure travel business in Peru, and was a chef in Pebble Beach and varies restaurants in Boulder.

Ms. Laingor endeavors to help pioneer integrated holistic medicine, and facilitate a shift in the existing medical paradigm to allow healthcare to be more effective, safe, and economical.
